"I Love…"

An English fill-in-the-blanks poem based on "Love Those Little Red Potatoes" by me

I love babies and cats and cuteness and the allure of shiny things and people with open minds. I love me more than you and mirrors and people with open minds and fame. I love people with open minds and the color emerald green and stringed instruments and the seeming contradiction of singing music with no vocals. I love colored lights. I love books and math and people with open minds and philosophy. I love the Renaissance age and the scratch of a good pen as it writes and people with open minds and colors and words and the name Tobias. I love people with open minds. I love messing with people’s heads and lying and acting “out of character” and the look I can only get from doing that. I love how everybody in this school knows who I am, but nobody knows me. I love happy depression and self-depreciation and the color of my blood and people with open minds and masochistic tendencies and emotional turmoil. I love Saturday morning cartoons and SNICK with the orange couch and the Mill Race and getting upset when the toy isn’t in the box! I love anti-sociality. I love dragons and angels and people with open minds and mecha. I love contradictions and chaos and logic and order. I love people with open minds, but most of all, I love Heather Wilken (in a strictly platonic sort of way).

I tried to be a bit unconventional in filling in the blanks, and I think I did well at showing my fracturedness. It's more obvious in the real copy, 'cause I went all out with the fonts. Almost very thing that I love has a font different from the base font, and a few things are multi-colored. It's pretty cool.

And I'm geting a picture of Heather to scan and put on the page eith the poem from her.

And then we're going to watch an Esca tape so that she has some idea of what I keep blathering about.
