EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Early gift opening provided me one Special Edition Monty Python and the Holy Grail Two-Disc DVD Set! With footage cut from Castle Anthrax that they decided they wanted to un-cut even before the movie ran in theaters, but it was too late to do so.
It's a rather funny breakage of the fourth wall, that turns "Get on with it!" into a running gag like the swallows.
And there're two commentaries, you can have the screenplay appear onscreen as the movie plays (Thus revealing to many what the Knights who say... Knights who Until Recently Said Ni say.), and the extras DVD is muchly interesting. There's the "Camelot" number in Lego, a couple Pythons revisit locations in the film (And reveal just how much of it was filmed in or right outside Doune Castle), there's a BBC film Night on the movie (They interwiew the Pythons during breaks from filming. It's on the day they filmed the first French taunting scene.), and, well, lots of stuff that's all very enjoyable.
Quote of the Day:
"At least it didn't become a string of [cat] jokes." - Dennis, on the Castle Anthrax scene, during the brief bit of cut footage. (Quote censored for the easily offended. I don't know why, but it is.)
