What Video Game Character Are You? I am Mr Do.I am Mr Do.

I am sedentary by nature, enjoying passive entertainment, eating when the mood takes me, and playing with my food. I try to avoid conflict, but when I'm angered, I can be a devil - if you force me to fight, I will crush you. With apples. What Video Game Character Are You?
Sorry for not saying anything recently, but I was forced on a family "vacation," a trip up to my grandmother's house where there's no computer, cable, or anything I use for amusement at home except for an organ which doesn't have the range neccisary to play all of the music I brought.

It wasn't very fun.

Then, at church Saturday, the preacher pissed me off. Horribly. He was talking about family. HE satrted by rattling off a list of "bad" kinds of families. Single-parent families, families where the parents divorced, etc. Then the big offense: "So-called "families" with same-sex partners."

I wanted to kick the crap out of him right then and there, but I have enough common sense not to. He went on, saying the only "good" family is a family modeled after the "holy" family of Jesus, Mary, and Joseph. Despite the fact that not much is really known about them. Joseph doesn't even say anything in the Bible! There's even some bits of proof that Jesus had siblings!

Then, I was reminded of my main reason for not wantig to be a part of the Roman Catholic religion. "Consider not what we deserve, but forgive us our sins."

How fucking pretentious is that? That's Roman Catholisism in a nutshell. Yes, there are good parts, life morals and results of belief in a supreme deity, but teh religion is so fucking self-centered I want to puke!

I have an odd dream to tell you about tomorrow.

Hee! Squirrels!

Quote of the Day:

"I'd be crushing on her (Natalie Imbruglia) if I weren't gay." - Me, to Elusion.
I was talking to Elusion last night, and we got to talking about how NATALIE IMBRUGLIA ROCKS MY WORLD!!!!!!!!!! And his, somewhat.

And guess what? She's finally making a second CD!

**Dies**

If it's not released here in America, I'm going to kick all the record company execs who decided not to, then get it by was of Elusion. It probably won't happen that that'd be neccisary, but you never know.

By the way, if you hate Natalie because of "Torn," skip that track and listen to the rest of her CD. It's all good music, unlike most new releases which are a couple good songs and a ton of crap. "Smoke" is the greatest song ever, followed by "Here Comes the Rain Again" by the Eurythmics (Also great music-makers) and "Impressed," also by Natalie. "Smoke" is thoroughly un-"Torn." "Torn" is almost pop. "Smoke" is quasi-depressing and I sense some subtext about child abuse, though I might be wrong.

"Impressed" is half a step away from techno. The other day, band period was a study hall, so I brought my CD plaer and that CD, and had people try to guess who's CD it was by having them listen to "Impressed." Nobody guessed right, and everybody was surprised. 'Specially the girl who used to listen to the CD all the time. Then she said she usually stopped about track 6. **Kills girl for not listening to the whole CD**

And she's making a new CD! **Dies** (Yes, I know I told you that already, I'm just really excited.)

IT"S SNOWING!!!!!

Finally!

Hasn't snowed yet this year, and now it's snowing like... Umm.... I was gonna say hell, but that's not a very snow-y place.

Hopefully it won't melt by Christmas, which isn't unlikely, given the screwy Ohio weather that can be fucking freezing one second and hot as hell the next...

Mmmmmm.... Nacho Cheesier Doritos....

Whee. I'm officially in Was-known-as-Christmas-Break-before-the-school-systems-all-went-PC Break, also known as "Winter Break."

Nothing important enough to blog about has been happeneing, or I would've written something.

Over break I have to work on my audition piece for the musical. Well, I don't have to, but I am so that I do well. I just have to decide between singing "Put on a Happy Face" or part of "One Last Kiss." (Or is that "One More Kiss?" I've been working on "Put on a Happy Face" 'cause I don't really want to play Conrad all that mcuh. I will if I'm cast as him, but...)

If you haven't figured it out already the musical this year is "Bye Bye Birdie." Auditions start the day after we get back from break, witht he day we get back being a day Ms. Snyder will help us work on our piece if we want help. She's a much better director than Dinovo already. We didn't know what music we'd be auditioning with until auditions.

I also need an approx. 1 min. monologue for the acting auditions, which are the three school days following the three singing audition days. I get back to school the first Wed. of Jan. The musical is in mid-Mar. I'm looking forward to it, because last year was fun, and this year, we have a better director. <---- Very abbreviatory paragraph.

Fwee!

Hm. After this week's episode of Alias, methinks that the writers are trying to attract a male audience.

But what do I get? EvilSloane, Spydaddy, and Forehead-crease man. It's so unfair!

But it's a good show, when belief is suspened, and then when it comes back, it's fun to laugh at the show.

But still. How could a spy agency keep a spy as inept as Syd, mole or not? Ah well. It's fun.
Hey, I'm still alive. Blogger's been stupid. I'll tell you about the surgery sometime...

I changed my archives so that it's easier to read when the archives are for. Changed them from "12/09/2001" to "Week of..." at the very beginning of the list, then a list of dates like "December 9, 2001."

I find that easier to read, so I figured others would, too.

**Has done second work of webpage editing ever**

I have an ingrown toenail. I have surgery Saturday. Wheee... ?

I still haven't figured out what I wanted to say...

Sorry for not posting anything recently, but I've been busy. -ish.

I finally finished Golden Sun, and although I don't like the ending too much (The game stops in the middle of the quest, essentially.), I suppose it's better to have attention to detail and great graphics and gameplay (gameplay above graphics) through the wholse story, even if the story is spread thoughout multiple games, than the whole story with OK gameplay and loss of detail.

I had something else I wanted to say, but I've completely forgotten it... ^_^;; Maybe I should've updated this weekend.

Gomen!

**Is looking through referrals to blog**

People have found my blog by searching for "pacifier blog", "Photosute" (Yes, that's how I misspelled it in an entry and how it was entered in the person's search), "funny socks", and "blogger comment scripts". Quite diverse.

Thank you, Pisces for your nine million referrals. ^_^

And you, Sean for your many referrals, but not near as many as Pisces'.

Someday, I will social blog, but then I'd feel obligated for a link list, which I won't have until there's a new layout. Which will, hopefully, come soon.

**Baps Anne to get her working**

Yeah, I know, it's about quarter after one and I 'm home from school early. I'm not sick though, we got let out early. The teachers had some... thing they have to do that they decided was worth shortening the school day so that they wouldn't be at school until late. It'll happen again sometime in the spring. Wheee! ?
Writing is a very good stress reliever.

I wrote the second part of my book project last night, by hand, because my parents send me to bed so long before I'm tired that I've begun using that time for homework. Even though I was writing about why The Closing of the American Mind should not be on the list of books for the project, it really help... make things seem not so sucky. I wish I'd bbeen writing in pen. Pens that scratch the paper are the best thing to write with.

And the most evil things in the world of the violin are 4th-finger notes and the e-string. There is no point to 4th-finger notes. They make he tone (supposedly, I don't do them well) the same as the next higest string when it's open. I can change strings for one note easier than I can do the 4th finger. **Baps inventor of 4-th finger notes**

**Lightly baps inventor of e-strings, which are evil, but nowhere near as evil as 4-th finger notes**

I took this test, and my result was

"You are Edvard Münch's The Scream.

You express the subconscious troubles and anxieties of the world. You hold your head and let loose the primal terror of your innermost fears, surrounded by a lurid landscape which reflects your feeble grasp on reality."

Um... yay?

The Auk is tonight!

That's always fun. It's a computerized quiz thing, and th Academic Challenge team does it every year. We get food, too.

And I've been printing out FF6 sheet music. I've gotten pretty good at Kefka's theme, for having printed it out yesterday... Sadly, I can't play Celes' them, becuse my left hand simply can't reach far enough to play the bottom part correctly in parts.

Grr. Stupid bell. Must go now.
